WELCOME!
Welcome everyone! This is my new blog. I am Shen and this is my Art Corner! This blog is all about posting fun and creative art pieces that I've discovered and just want to share with the world!
*Disclaimer: Many of the photos and art pieces that I will be posting and sharing with you all will not be my own work. Therefore, because it is the other artists' works, I will make sure that I will give credit where credit is due.
That being said, art is one of my passions and I hope it becomes important to you as well! I hope that you will find the pieces that I will be posting as interesting, inspiring, and beautiful and perhaps you may find some that will even BLOW YOUR MIND with how much CREATIVITY and TALENT each artist showcases. For Example:
This is a life size-sculpture of a mare created by Heather Jansch.
Jansch has loved horses and drawing ever since she was a little girl and clearly, she still has an affinity for them! Can you tell what media she uses to create her sculptures? The answer is DRIFTWOOD. Jansch, at the time when she was still trying to figure out her “artist’s voice,” had an epiphany one day, which of course, was to experiment with driftwood, eventually resulting in her present day success. For more information, here is a link to her official webpage that gives a more in depth profile and other pictures of her other sculptures. Some of which are for sale!
